The Library of American Broadcasting announces a new dimension in media recognition: PRIME TIME – The Registry of Distinguished Achievement in the Broadcasting Industry.
The Registry has been established to recognize those who have made and continue to make invaluable contributions to the growth of the radio and television industries.
In return for a few moments of your time in which we ask you to complete and return the enclosed questionnaire, you will be included in the inaugural class of individuals to be immortalized in the permanent collection of the Library of American Broadcasting.
Created 38 years ago, the Library has become the preeminent repository for the history and legacy of the industry. It is home to 1,000 oral histories, 200,000 photographs and over 10,000 books, pamphlets, scripts, audio and video recordings. And now, it will house your own personal history.
In an effort to keep things as simple as possible, our questions are brief. We ask that in addition to completing this questionnaire, you include a photo of yourself if possible. This questionnaire may be downloaded here to print and complete, or you can click here to complete the questionnaire online.
The contributions you have made to the broadcasting industry throughout your career as well as those accomplishments yet to come distinguish you as a member of the inaugural class. We hope you will spare a few moments of your time to provide us with your information either electronically or on paper.
Thank you, and welcome to Prime Time.
